KPBX Kids' Concert: Scott Kirby Plays 150 Years of Piano

Join us for a KPBX Kids' Concert with pianist Scott Kirby on Saturday, November 17 at 1pm in the Music Building at Spokane Falls Community College.  This FREE concert will journey through 150 years of ragtime, Blues, Americana and more. Kirby will also present images throughout the concert, including his own watercolor art.

KPBX Kids' Concerts are FREE thanks to event donors Harvard Park Children's Learning Center North, Haystack Heighs, Numerica Credit Union, and Rocket Bakery, as well as the Johnston-Fix Foundation.

About the Performer
A native of Ohio, Scott Kirby began his study of music at age six and has continued ever since. He's performed throughout the country and around the world in various ragtime festivals, and he's made a number of recordings. As a visual artist, he's most recently created  programs combining his musical compositions with his art.  He currently lives in Boulder, CO where he divides his time between music, art, and teaching.
