Gail Goeller & Becky Tiller will provide an overview of what is involved in proper care planning in order to age well. Special emphasis will be given to the issues of maintaining healthy family dynamics in the midst of change.

Becky Tiller, Tiller Care Strategies

Rebecca (Becky) Tiller has owned and operated Tiller Care Strategies, an adult geriatric care management company, since 2004. She has been working with adults and elders in the Spokane area since 1985. Prior to her work in care management, Becky was the Assistant Director for Providence Adult Day Health. Becky is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Geriatric Mental Health Specialist. Becky served as a Board Member and President of the Inland NW Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.  She has developed and facilitated caregiver support groups for over 25 years and she continues to facilitate a group for those with a dementing illness. She served on the Board of Directors for the Inland Northwest Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners for two terms. Becky earned a BA in Communication and a MA in Counseling Psychology.

Gail Goeller, Author of "Coming of Age with Aging Parents: The Bungles, Battles, and Blessings"

Gail Goeller is former editor of the award-winning Directory for Seniors and Their Families and author of “Coming of Age with Aging Parents: The Bungles, Battles, and Blessings” (now in an expanded edition). She gained her expertise while tending to her aging family of five along with her husband, John. Most recently Gail cared for John, diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s Disease. With a master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences and a sixteen-year career in organizational development, Gail has a deep appreciation for human interactions.
