Season's Greetings 2017

SPR

Dear Listeners,

Happy Holidays! At the close of the year and the beginning of another, there will be several significant changes to our programming lineup beginning January 1.

We live in a time of significant changes in public broadcasting, and we must consider carefully how to move forward. Pricing, audience, and content issues are driving programming changes across the country. I’ve had many conversations with listeners, public radio managers, staff, producers, program syndication providers, and our own Community Advisory Board. There are strong indications that these changes are very much in line with best practices to better serve our communities. As the holidays are upon us, SPR will also offer several beautiful special holiday programs from near and far, from the deep past to contemporary times. We hope you enjoy our season’s offerings, and the new programs in the coming year.

On behalf of the staff, Board of Directors, and Community Advisory Board of Spokane Public Radio, we wish you all a very safe and joyful holiday season!

Best regards,
Cary Boyce, General Manager
