From the Studio: SFCC Theater Department Presents "The Crucible"

The Spokane Falls Community College drama department will be presenting  a famous literary masterwork--The Crucible--this weekend and next weekend at the Spartan Theatre on campus.  Arthur Miller wrote the play itself, and this particular production is directed by Josephine Keefe.  She was joined in the studio by her sister Julia Keefe and actors Scott Worby and Mikyla Bordner.  The Crucible will open Thursday, May 26 and end Sunday, June 5 with Thursday-Saturday performances at 7:30pm and Sunday matinees at 2:00pm.

Verne Windham got his start at Spokane Public Radio 20 years ago. “I came in to complain and they hired me.” He’s now the Program Director, as well as the host of Morning Classical and Concert of the Week. When choosing music for Morning Classical, Verne likes to keep the agenda as broadly defined as possible. For Concert of the Week, he focuses on the best of recent local performances, mostly classical in nature. For many years, Verne was also the conductor of the Spokane Youth Orchestra. He enjoys gardening, his vintage car and playing French horn.
