Visit SPR's Booth at Art on the Green

Art on the Green

North Idaho College's campus hosts the annual Art on the Green each summer, and SPR joined the fun Aug. 3-5. The SPR booth had ticket giveaways, free drawstring backpacks for kids, crafts, and freebies.

Art on the Green is a celebration of art and community in the northwest. Taking place solely on the old Fort Sherman grounds on campus, it has become a marketplace and performance space. More than 135 visual artists take part, and many regional performers take the stages -- many have been heard in recent years on KPBX.

The Spokane Public Radio booth is always near the main entrance before the information booth. Visitors meet with station staff and volunteers, find out about upcoming fall events, and enter a drawing for free tickets from SPR and its media partners.

Please note that dogs are NOT allowed in Art on the Green.
