Event Description

Artist reception: Friday, October 4, 5 to 8 p.m.

Artists will present drawings and paintings that represent “forces of nature.”

Mariah Boyle creates mixed media drawings and installations that reference the landscape and personal or public memories associated with > passing through or spending time in a place. Life in the Northwest has had a strong influence on her work. She is a member of the regional artist collective, Saranac Art Projects, in Spokane, Washington, and teaches at Spokane Falls Community College.

Karen Mobley is an artist, writer and art consultant. She was artist in residence Laboratory, (2018), Spokane County Library (2017), AIR Studio Paducah (2016), Jentel Foundation (2016) and Brush Creek Foundation (2015). She has participated in numerous art exhibitions at the Jundt Art Museum, Terrain Spokane, Spokane’s Window Dressing installation program and in numerous group exhibits.
