An original, limited edition poster by renowned painter Victoria Brace is one of the highlights of the 13th Annual Little Spokane River Artist Studio Tour. Brace created the original artwork, then worked directly with master printer Kurt Schmierer at Spokane Art Supply to produce a print that is signed and numbered, and limited to only 50 prints. While the print was created for the show, the net proceeds from sales will be donated to Spokane Public Radio.
"Victoria's artwork is simply gorgeous," said Gina Freuen, LSRAST co-founder, "and having the opportunity to own a signed Victoria Brace artwork for only $50 is a great way to support the artist community that helps to make Spokane a vibrant center of the arts."
This year's Little Spokane River Artist Studio Tour show moved online because of the pandemic, and the LSRAST website links collectors directly to their favorite artists and lets them get acquainted with new ones, virtually. The show website will remain active through the end of the year. "The Little Spokane River Artist Studio Tour has always been enthusiastically supported by art collectors and we are appreciative of the support we are seeing this year, even during these difficult times," Freuen said.
This year, 36 well-known, regional artists are showcasing original artwork across nine artistic expressions: painters; jewelers; potters; photographers; 2D mixed media; 3D mixed media and sculpture; glass, wood and stone; fiber, and leather.
