Afternoon Intermediate Pottery with Louise Schollaert In this immersion pottery course, students will apply all prior knowledge and basic skills to create functional and complete works. New skills, material use, and tool applications will also be acquired by the student at the end of this course. 6-week course. Thursday's 12:30pm-3:30pm. April 28, 2022-June 2, 2022. Ages 16+.

Youth Pottery with Alydia Grover In this youth pottery course, students will learn how to make pinch pots, coil pots, and gain the basic knowledge of throwing pots on the wheel. This class will be a production class, so students will take home their creations. Students will also learn about tools, terminology, and studio etiquette. 4-week course. Saturdays from 10AM to 12PM. Begins April 30th ends May 21st. Ages 7+
Grades 4 - 8 · Join us to explore the wonderful world of coding! Youth will be exposed to a core concept of coding - variables, conditionals, functions, or functions with parameters - and empowered to explore these concepts at their own pace in Scratch.
The concept being explored will rotate each month: July: Variables August: Conditionals September: Functions October: Functions with Parameters
A lesson on the topic will be provided every half hour during the program (at 12:30, 1, 1:30, and 2). Once youth have gotten the lesson, they will be assigned a computer to start coding!

An introduction to the skills of drawing for people who have not taken formal art classes and may need to attain confidence in their drawing skills.
The INs and OUTs of Printmaking Join youth printmaking instructor Sarah Windisch as she guides students through the two main printmaking processes - relief and intaglio. Students will create art by building up and/or carving out materials, then adding ink and color. Projects include linocut blocks, collagraph prints, drypoint etching, and tons of monoprinting! Suitable for ages 5+ THERE IS NO CLASS 3/30 DUE TO SPRING BREAK 5 Weeks 3/9 - 4/13 (March 30th is an off-week)There are TWO sessions to chose from Wednesdays A 4:00pm - 5:30pm and a 6:00pm - 7:30pm session. The Buried in Treasures group is for people who would like to learn tips on how to de-clutter and stop over-acquiring with people who know what it’s like. Each week we will have a discussion around a specific skill, followed by the completion of challenging and rewarding exercises. Individual progress, challenges, successes, and goals are also monitored throughout the sixteen weeks. There is hope! Join us every Wednesday at the Women's Club. Presented by the Spokane Folklore Society. All dances taught and walked through, then called to live music. Beginners, Singles, Couples WELCOME!
