When you sit inside the capital building in Olympia or any other building where elected officials meet, it’s not always a good idea to throw rocks, political or otherwise. So how do legislators conduct themselves in situations where emotions are sometimes intense? How do things actually get done despite contentious political climates and diverging agendas? How can legislators overcome their differences to accomplish something for their states and their communities?
