Get Lit! Festival 2019 Preview, Part 1

On this episode of The Bookshelf, readings from a small selection of the authors taking part in the 2019 Get Lit! Festival, which takes place April 22-28 at locations throughout Spokane.

Writer, cartoonist, and teacher Simeon Mills reads from his forthcoming novel The Obsoletes (Skybound Books, 2019).

Ellie Kozlowzki reads a passage from her recently released book Best Tent Camping Washington (Menasha Ridge Press, 2018). 

Poet Tim Greenup reads from his self-published comic zine The Mall.

Plus, an exerpt of Chris Maccini's interview with best-selling novelist and 2019 Pulitzer Prize finalist, Tommy Orangeauthor of the novel There, There (Knopf, 2018).
