Idaho Governor Names CDA Pastor Tim Remington To Open House Seat

Idaho Governor Brad Little today [Tuesday] named a Coeur d’Alene pastor to fill an open legislative seat.

Little tabbed Tim Remington to serve the seat vacated by John Green. The House voted earlier this month to remove Green from his seat after his conviction in Texas on a charge of conspiracy to defraud the federal government.

Remington is pastor of the Altar Church in Coeur d’Alene and director of a faith-based addiction recovery program. Remington was shot six times outside his church in 2016 by a man he befriended. That man, Kyle Odom, is now serving a 25-year prison term.

Remington’s term began today. He will serve until after the November election. He is eligible to run for the seat.
