Inland Journal, June 24, 2019: Spokane City Council Candidate Michael Cathcart

Michael Cathcart

Today on the Inland Journal podcast, we continue to work our way down the list of seven candidates who want to replace Mike Fagan on the Spokane city council, representing the Northeast district. Last week, we talked with four of the candidates. Now we turn to Michael Cathcart. Cathcart has worked for the Spokane Home Builders Association. He’s also a political consultant for local candidates.

On Tuesday, we'll talk with candidate number six, Louis Lefebvre. We also expect to talk soon with the seventh, Jerrall Haynes.

You can hear our full interviews with the candidates for Spokane city office on the Spokane Public Radio website. We’ll add one new candidate a day until we’ve featured all who have accepted our invitation. Find those by clicking on the regional news tab and then clicking on Election 2019, or just go to the Inland Journal page.

Or you can get them by subscribing to the Inland Journal podcast in Apple podcasts, NPR One or Google Play.
