SCLD Presents Author Lisa Napoli, SPR Media Partner

Spokane County Library District presents author Lisa Napoli discussing The 24-Hour News Cycle & How It Created a World of News Junkies. Napoli has written a number of books including her most recent about the founding female journalists of NPR. This event will take place on Thursday, August 5 at 6:30 p.m. online. You can register for this online event at scld.org.

At this event Lisa Napoli, author of Susan, Linda, Nina & Cokie: The Extraordinary Story of the Founding Mothers of NPR and Up All Night: Ted Turner, CNN, and the Birth of 24-Hour News discusses how key figures at CNN and NPR changed daily news for Americans forever. The first 30 registered participants will receive a complimentary copy of Napoli’s book, available for in-library and curbside pickup.
