Season 5, Episode 23: Mister Fifty Lungs

In this episode, Kevin and Tony explain why irony is like a lotion rubbed on our backs by a stranger’s hands, and then, as if that weren’t enough, they take the listener on a series of unsettling and ridiculous journeys. First, Dan Blanche (the longest-serving adjunct writing instructor at Lower Heights Community College) has an unproductive encounter with the ruthless career advisor, Brian Feldon. Finally, we drop in once again to Jean-Jacques Vendage’s Offended Belgian Late Night Cable Access TV. This time Jean-Jacques interviews and is offended by a mysterious young Eurotrash woman who is more, yet less, yet actually at least a little more, than she seems…
