Season 6, Episode 20: Valentine’s Day Special: For the Love of Mollusks

It’s that late-winter, consumerist hit holiday again, Valentine’s Day, and naturally our thoughts turn to our love for mollusks. As clams and whelks press their horrid little bodies against your ankles with hopes of being your Valentine, listen to the wisdom of Tony and Kevin in order to learn how to shake them off without offending them. Today’s show is all about the love of mollusks, starting with the classic “One on One Couples Therapy” with Doctor Mike. Let’s face it, the need for couples therapy is usually the fault of just one member of the couple (male) and so why waste time and money with both spouses there? We follow it up with a message from our sponsor, Shingles, the corn-based snack product that comes in a semi-durable tube suitable for storing your chaw spittins’ for up to 45 minutes. Then it’s Annabeth Myserabel with a new edition of “Animaladversions.” Annabeth has a new engineer—Jorge, from San Jose (or was it Santa Fe?) and a surprise (human) animal guest. Then it’s off to the Land of Not for “Morally Ambiguous Fairy Tales with Papa Guilder.” Today’s tale is “Kim Jong-Un’s Disappointing Valentine’s Day,” guest starring Dennis Rodman and Paul Lynde!
