Season 8, Episode 11: Siding with North Korea

The Listener will be delighted to learn that at last Men in Charge has begun siding with North Korea.  Why should the Chinese government have all the fun? A cold bath in the river is surely a more refreshing way to bathe rather than standing in a shower, right?  The Listener will learn to agree even more obediently in this week’s segments.  First, Disgruntled Belgian Talk Radio host Didier Vendage takes another call from Jared Kushner, who offers up Ivanka in exchange for ideas on how to meddle in elections.  Next, we hear from the New America Diploma Repossession Unit, which uncovers a bribery scandal: a student received unfair help enrolling at Lower Heights Community College! After that, we return to the 19th century Yorkshire moors with Heaving Bosoms, part 11: the craven Abbot Chugglewit schemes to add the riches of Ridgely Manor to his already very rich monastery. Finally, we hear another rollicking tale of Deborah’s girlhood at the Wiltshire Girls Academy for the Privileged: Wednesday afternoon ski lessons with the 2nd graders. You can be sure that at least everyone else has fun!
