Season 9, Episode 1: Is There a Stowaway?

Tony and Kevin burst into Season 9 still mired, alas, where they were at the end of Season 8, in an earthen pit and Lower Heights sewer respectively, but still upbeat about their lockdown. They pursue the penultimate question we all must face: “Is there a stowaway?” Are we being stowed-away-upon, or are we our own stowaways? Listen and learn, maybe. Meanwhile, first up is the return of Mr. Skids, professional drunkard and reprobate, who seeks out fraud opportunities at the the unemployment office. Next, Roger Basement returns to “What’s New with You?” to interview—and chide—Father Pablum Blather, failed sportswriter and unpromising radio host.  After that, we hear from a new sponsor, Hyroxychloroquine, a remedy as effective against the Covfefe virus as a stab wound or a blow to the head. (This commercial was crafted by the cunning hands of our newest writer, Jarrett Langford, of “Nederland.”) Lastly, Kevin and Tony return us to the adventures of Chester Hehdridge, who seeks a Worthy Opponent in the Georgia State Film Commission as he peddles his untreated film treatments. Take notes throughout this episode, and then discard them.
