From the Studio: Aspire Community Theatre presents "The Addams Family"

Spokane Public Radio

Trigger Weddle, Artistic Director of Aspire Community Theatre, visits the studio with members of the cast of "The Addams Family," Callie Cabe (Director), Anden J. Leo (Gomez), and Jen Kleinkauf (Morticia). The musical, based on Charles Addams' macabre cartoon family, offers an original story in which a grown-up Wednesday invites her boyfriend and his parents to the Addams family home for dinner.

"The Addams Family" has shows Thursday - Saturday, October 24 - 26, at 7:30 PM, with matinee performances at 2 PM on Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27, as well. For tickets and more information, visit https://www.aspirecda.com/.

Verne Windham got his start at Spokane Public Radio 20 years ago. “I came in to complain and they hired me.” He’s now the Program Director, as well as the host of Morning Classical and Concert of the Week. When choosing music for Morning Classical, Verne likes to keep the agenda as broadly defined as possible. For Concert of the Week, he focuses on the best of recent local performances, mostly classical in nature. For many years, Verne was also the conductor of the Spokane Youth Orchestra. He enjoys gardening, his vintage car and playing French horn.
