From the Studio: The MAC Presents "The Great Disrupters: Volcanic Legacies"

Two exhibits at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture explore historic volcanic eruptions, near and far: "Mt. St. Helens: Critical Memory" and "Pompeii: The Immortal City." MAC Executive Director Wes Jessup and Gonzaga University Professor of History and Classical Civilizations Andrew Goldman visit the studio to discuss the exhibits.

When choosing music for Morning Classical, Verne likes to keep the agenda as broadly defined as possible. For Concert of the Week, he focuses on the best of recent local performances, mostly classical in nature. For many years, Verne was also the conductor of the Spokane Youth Orchestra.
