T. Ann Lyons Reads "The Blind Men and the Elephant" by John Godfrey Saxe

T. Ann Lyons, recently retired, has returned to her family’s roots and lives in the wilds of Washington with her husband, three dogs, one cat, a wealth of wildlife and a bounty of bugs, the inspiration for her mildly educational, unavoidably whimsical Bug Ditty poetry.

Recently honored by the Spokane Symphony Association as the featured poet for their Poetry to Music program, it was suggested she also read for KPBX Poetry Moment, a grand opportunity to continue the crusade to share the amazing story of the insect world.

There is a world beneath your feet if you’ll but stoop to look,

lessons can be learned there rarely found in any book.

Chris Maccini previously worked at SPR as Morning Edition host and producing arts and special programming such as The Bookshelf, Poetry Moment, Northwest Arts Review, special features and more.
