Spokane County public health officials recorded 182 new Covid cases on Saturday after two consecutive days with more than 300. Over the last seven days, the new positive test count is 1,972.
The health district reports 136 people are resting with Covid in Spokane’s hospitals, 102 of them Spokane County residents.
The Panhandle Health District didn’t report Covid numbers on Saturday, but Friday brought an unusually high count: 333 new cases. Hospitalization numbers have fallen over the last four days with 63 people hospitalized, down from 84 on Monday.
The Northeast Washington Tri-County Health District reported 20 new cases on Friday.
