Underappreciated Filmmakers

Movies come and go, as do those who direct them. But the unfair part about this process is that some filmmakers gain long-lasting fame—even if they don’t necessarily deserve it—while others end up seemingly lost to the ages. On this week’s show, Dan Webster and Nathan Weinbender will be doing their parts to correct the historical record on four filmmakers who they think are underappreciated, especially considering their contributions to the art of cinema.
