Russell Flemming reads his original poem, “Evening Report Back Home".

Russell Flemming is a retired U.S. Army colonel who served in the Army Medical Department as a health care administrator. After retiring from the Army in 2010, he studied creative writing at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. In 2017, he joined the Peace Corps. One of his Peace Corps assignments was in the village of Ongombombonde, Namibia, where he taught English to 5th grade students and provided HIV/AIDS education. His writing has been published in various poetry journals and history magazines.
