Michael Daley reads his original poem "Dark Times."

Michael Daley taught high-school English in the Skagit Valley from 1990 to 2012, during which time he wrote and published poetry, essays, a translation of Italian poems and chapbooks. His books include Reinhabited: New & Selected Poems (Dos Madres Press, 2022), Born With (Dos Madres Press, 2020), Of a Feather (Pleasure Boat Studio, 2016), Alter Mundus (Pleasure Boat Studio, 2013), Moonlight in the Redemptive Forest (Pleasure Boat Studio, 2010), To Curve (Word Press, 2008) and The Straits (Pleasure Boat Studio, 1983). His poetry has appeared in APR, The Hudson Review, Ploughshares, North American Review, New England Review, Seattle Review, Rhino, Gargoyle and The Writers’ Almanac among other publications.
