This week's episode of the Thursday Arts (P)review — where the "p" is parenthetical because we look both forward and back — includes the following:
- Two songs from local bluegrass band Monroe Bridge that were recorded during the live, two-hour Fall Folk Festival broadcast from the SPR studio on Nov. 12, 2022.
- A fresh interview with Cozette Phillips, curator of the Fine Art Gallery at Spokane Falls Community College, on their new exhibition of work from the Virginia-based metalsmith and jeweler Caitie Sellers. The show is titled "Scenes from an Underpass."
- A sneak peak at this week's Movies 101 review of Decision to Leave, the new film from Korean director Park Chan-wook, who had previously directed Oldboy. Decision to Leave is playing at the Magic Lantern Theatre in downtown Spokane.
- A reprise of the performance of "Sweet Transvestite" by Gabriel Conesa Caquias and Ijah Moore in the SPR performance space. It was recorded during their in-studio interview on October 28 to promote the opening of Rocky Horror Show at Spokane's Stage Left Theater. The sold-out run closes this weekend.
