"Blazing Fiddles," the Coeur d'Alene Symphony's upcoming fundraiser, will feature a "classics meets cowboys" theme, says Jan Pellant, Conductor. Joined in the studio by the fundraiser's guest host, Molly Allen, the two give us a preview of the evening's entertainment.

Spokane Symphony concertmaster Mateusz Wolski visited our studio this morning with KZZU radio personality Molly Allen, who will be a special guest in “The M Show: Music, Mayhem, & Mystery— The String-Centric Edition." A humorous and in-depth look at all things strings, it features ensemble performances of both classical and pop music with threads of late-night comedy and film woven throughout.

Shows will be at 8 PM on November 16 & 17 at Riverside Place, and audience members are invited to join the band for an “after party” following each.

Ellen Travolta and daughter Molly Allen came to the station with special guest Patrick Treadway to interview about their upcoming show: "Christmas Unwrapped." This is the newest of Ellen's annual holiday theatre productions at the Coeur d'Alene Resort, and is sure to be a night filled with music, laughter and stories celebrating the holiday season.

Performances will be at 7:30 PM Thursday – Saturday and 5 PM Sunday each week starting November 23 and continuing through December 16. 

This show is suitable for all ages.

Ellen Travolta presents Christmas with a Twist. Musical performances take place November 24 - December 17, 2017 Thursday - Saturday 7:30 PM & Sunday 5:00 PM at Coeur d'Alene Golf & Spa Resort. Molly Allen speaks with Verne this morning about the production and Lola Fridley sings some Christmas-themed songs.

In the midst of our symphony week, we took a break and paid homage to our Theater Wednesday tradition with the folks from Ignite! Community Theatre.  They are about to open their show On Shaky Ground by Molly Allen.  Verne had a chance to talk with Molly as well as Billy Hultquist and Jack Bannon about this show that is directed by Troy Nickerson.  On Shaky Ground is presented as two one-act segments and will open this Friday, September 16 and run through Sunday, October 2.
