Today was one of those busy theater triple headers at Spokane Public Radio. Our first group included cast members from Ignite! Community Theatre's production of How the Other Half Loves, written by Alan Ayckbourn, opening this Friday, February 19th at 7:30pm.  This show runs on weekends through March 6th.  Verne had quite the group in to talk about the production and even had them perform a short excerpt for us.  Members included director Barry Brathovd and actors Scott Finlayson, Tanya Brownlee, Michelle Bakken, Jason Young, Cambria Ravsten, and Dan Griffith.

Verne Windham got his start at Spokane Public Radio 20 years ago. “I came in to complain and they hired me.” He’s now the Program Director, as well as the host of Morning Classical and Concert of the Week. When choosing music for Morning Classical, Verne likes to keep the agenda as broadly defined as possible. For Concert of the Week, he focuses on the best of recent local performances, mostly classical in nature. For many years, Verne was also the conductor of the Spokane Youth Orchestra. He enjoys gardening, his vintage car and playing French horn.
