Ben Cartwright's debut poetry collection After Our Departure was published by Sage Hill Press in 2016, and his chapbook The Meanest Things Pick Clean  was published by  Floating Bridge Press in 2017. He teaches at Spokane Falls Community College, and his past haunts include Tianjin (China), Topeka (Kansas), Lawrence (Kansas), Moscow (Idaho) and the underside of various railroad bridges.
