Taylor Kensel grew up in southeast Idaho. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing (Poetry) from EWU where she teaches writing and works as a Responder at the EWU Writers' Center. In 2017, her poem "Under my prom dress are," was nominated for the Pushcart Prize. Her work can be found in Black Rock & Sage, Rogue Agent, Z Publishing House's An Anthology of Emerging Poets, The Inlander, and others.
