For the month of October, we at Spokane Public Radio are proud and excited to feature Spokane author Kate Lebo reading from her own book of themed essays and recipes, The Book of Difficult Fruit: Arguments for the Tart, Tender, and Unruly.
The Book of Difficult Fruit won the Washington State Book Award in September and is also this year’s featured selection for Spokane Is Reading.
Spokane Is Reading is a monthlong event organized by the Spokane Public Library, the Spokane County Library District and Auntie's Bookstore. This year it culminates in a live author presentation from Kate Lebo on October 26, 2022.
