Melissa Huggins is the executive director of Spokane Arts, and her stories and essays have appeared in The Oyez Review, Lilac City Fairy Tales, Railtown Almanac, The Pacific Northwest Inlander, and elsewhere. She holds an MFA from Eastern Washington University and is working on a collection of essays. She serves on the boards of Scablands Books and Pivot, a live storytelling series.
