Melissa Huggins is the executive director of Spokane Arts, and her stories and essays have appeared in The Oyez ReviewLilac City Fairy TalesRailtown AlmanacThe Pacific Northwest Inlander, and elsewhere. She holds an MFA from Eastern Washington University and is working on a collection of essays. She serves on the boards of Scablands Books and Pivot, a live storytelling series.
