Community rallies and vigils are becoming more common in the U.S. these days. Some groups are calling attention to gun violence and mass killings. Others are focused on immigration.

Last week, Gonzaga University faculty and staff gathered on campus to express their solidarity with students and others who are affected by immigration actions taken by the government. There was a short program, then participants took cans of spray paint and left messages of support and solidarity on the Gonzaga Wall.
