Friday kicks off the annual weekend where live bands and beer gardens take over Browne’s Addition in Spokane. Elkfest runs today through Sunday, with about 15 bands total on one stage, right outside the Elk restaurant.
Reporter Paige Browning spoke with John Blakesley, who helped start the event eleven years ago. Blakesley is the production manager at Elkfest. The event is in Browne’s Addition Friday through Sunday.
