Kathryn Alexander

The ballots are out for Washington’s August 1 primary election. Yes, it’s the middle of summer and an election is less than two weeks away. It’s an odd-year election, which usually puts the focus on local candidates. In Spokane, one city council seat is up for grabs in each of the three districts. We contacted each of the candidates running in those districts and we’re featuring those who agreed to interviews.

Today, we feature Kathryn Alexander, who's running for a seat in the city's Northeast district.
