"Saint Maud" is another in a long string of religious horror movies, but it's one of the more thoughtful ones. The story of a lonely woman whose self-imposed sainthood becomes dangerous, Nathan Weinbender says it's an impressive debut that's now streaming through the cable service Epix.

Nathan Weinbender is the Film and Music Editor for the Inlander and a co-host of Spokane Public Radio's "Movies 101" heard Friday evenings at 6:30 here on KPBX.
