Recordings & Videos Sale

Spokane Public Radio will soon be accepting donations of reusable music and audio/video equipment for our annual KPBX Record Sale next February. We're kicking off collection season with a Fall Donation Day on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Bring your gently used equipment and media down to the station at 1229 N Monroe St. any time from 10am-2pm. We'll have cookies, Craven's Coffee, and a crew of volunteers available to help unload. Please park along the Fire Station on Sharp, or in the parking cutout on Monroe in front of the Kirby Vacuum shop.

Now is the time to help make the sale next February a success! If you miss donation day this fall, we'll be accepting donations at several locations around the region starting in January. We'll also have another Donation Day event at SPR on February 9 in preparation for the Record Sale February 23 and 24 at the Spokane Valley Event Center.

After a successful donation day, volunteers and staff are hard at work sorting all of those gently used items into categories for The Record Sale. Join us February 24 & 25 at the  Spokane Valley Event Center for two days of bargain hunting.

KPBX Recordings & Videos Sale 2017

Feb 26, 2017

Hundreds of event goers found their treasure in musical and film form at the KPBX Recordings & Videos Sale Feb. 25 and 26.

The annual fundraiser for SPR featured other music and film formats too, including CDs, DVDs, tapes, and the equipment to play them all on. But the big attraction has always been vinyl records and 45s.

The Salvation Army, Earthworks Recycling, 4000 Holes, The Long Ear in Coeur d' Alene, Bicycle Time in Cheney, Red Rock Catering, Hearn Brothers Publishing, Kirby Vacuum Sales and Supply, Music City, and Events Rents also helped make the Recording and Video sale possible.

Special thanks to event donors Design Spike, Strong Solutions, The Cleaning Authority, and The Spokesman-Review.
