Spokane Public Radio will open its doors in celebration of Verne Windham's retirement. Stop by SPR, 1229 N. Monroe St., September 29 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. to leave a memory or greeting for Verne, take a tour of the station, have a snack, and celebrate Verne's retirement. Visitors can also shake hands with E.J. Iannelli, who succeeded Verne as Arts & Music Director in August.
