Although SPR is officially a not-for-profit organization, we still need professionals both on and off the air. Many of the staff which oversees events, underwriting, and volunteers are now settling in to the Fire Station No. 3 on N. Monroe Street.
The move's timing made SPR move its usual October Membership Drive, and the Cyber Drive is helping keep SPR on the air. Thank you to everyone who donated already, from those donating online to our Sustaining Members giving extra gifts.

A piece of SPR's history moved over with the office furniture. A set of shelves built in the early days of KPBX was built specifically to store the large reels of audiotape programs were recorded onto. Then-Operations Manager Kathy Sackett remembers that volunteer Steve Loux wanted to build something elegant and long-lasting. Today they stand next to Verne Windham's future office, ready for more use by programming staff and volunteers.
