A Conversation with Cris Currie

Cris Currie is the author of two books, A User's Guide to Mount Spokane, and most recently, Spokane's History of Skiing. For over two decades, Currie has served as president of The Friends of Mount Spokane State Park, a non-profit organization which works to "enhance the programs and services of Mt. Spokane State Park and to encourage general awareness, further public interest, and provide public education in an effort to promote the responsible use of the Park and its cultural, recreational, historical, and natural resources."

Proceeds from the sale of Currie's book benefit The Friends of Mount Spokane State Park. It is available at Mountain Gear, Fitness Fanatics, Mt. Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park, the park office, or from the author.

Cris Currie will give a presentation Thursday, January 17 at 7 p.m. at Mountain Gear and signing copies of the book at Aunties Bookstore Saturday, January 19 from 1 to 3 p.m.
