From the Studio: EWU Theatre Dept Presents "Pocatello"

And now for the cherry on top: the finale of today's theater triple header was an intense and engaging preview of Eastern Washington University's fall theatre production, "Pocatello." Director Jadd Davis as well as actors Eli Drushella and Carly Stewart joined Verne to discuss the premise of the work as well as perform an excerpt that can be described as vehement and emotional in its intensity. "Pocatello" opens this Friday, November 13th and runs through November 21st.

Verne Windham got his start at Spokane Public Radio 20 years ago. “I came in to complain and they hired me.” He’s now the Program Director, as well as the host of Morning Classical and Concert of the Week. When choosing music for Morning Classical, Verne likes to keep the agenda as broadly defined as possible. For Concert of the Week, he focuses on the best of recent local performances, mostly classical in nature. For many years, Verne was also the conductor of the Spokane Youth Orchestra.
