From the Studio: CdA Summer Theatre Presents "The Little Mermaid"

From left: Jadd Davis, Kate Jaeger, and Natalie Corvin

Previewing their upcoming show-- Disney's The Little Mermaid--members of Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre talked with Verne about this Disney movie turned Broadway show.  Director Jadd Davis, Kate Jaeger (playing Ursula), Natalie Colvin (playing Ariel), and pianist Celeste Johnson gave us a taste of the music and a lively discussion regarding our favorite characters and their motivations.

The Little Mermaid opens tomorrow, Thursday, August 11th and runs through August 28th at the KROC Center in Coeur d'Alene.

Verne Windham got his start at Spokane Public Radio 20 years ago. “I came in to complain and they hired me.” He’s now the Program Director, as well as the host of Morning Classical and Concert of the Week. When choosing music for Morning Classical, Verne likes to keep the agenda as broadly defined as possible. For Concert of the Week, he focuses on the best of recent local performances, mostly classical in nature. For many years, Verne was also the conductor of the Spokane Youth Orchestra. He enjoys gardening, his vintage car and playing French horn.
