Producer Verne Windham reflects on having watched Ken Burns and Lynn Novick's public television series, The Vietnam War. Previously recorded Tim O'Brien reads excerpts from his book, The Things They Carried. O' Brien's book tells his story of being a young man from Minnesota, experiencing the Vietnam War from his experience as an American Soldier at the time. The Things They Carried was adapted as a play by the EWU Theater Department.
