SPR Music Feature: The Holy Broke

Kristen Black Photography: http://theholybroke.com/photos/

We have a special music segment today about a musician taking on stages, concert halls, and, yes, bar audiences in the northwest.

You may have heard of Kent Ueland, a Spokane musician born in Oregon, from his previous band the Terrible Buttons. But he’s moved on to a solo project called The Holy Broke. His album Do It Yourself came out in late January. We'll start the interview with a few chords from his new song 'Something in My Stomach'.

Kent Ueland plays under the moniker The Holy Broke. He released his album 'Do It Yourself' January 24th.
