Spokane Police say a young man believed to have made threats at Lewis and Clark High School about two weeks ago was arrested and booked into jail Tuesday.

Authorities say 18-year-old Ryan B. Lee faces three criminal counts, two for felony harassment or threats to kill, and one for communication with a minor for immoral purposes.

Police believe Lee was the person who made threats over the Internet to fellow students and to the school.

According to a press release, the young man was treated at a local care facility until he was deemed well enough to be released. He was taken on Tuesday to the Spokane County jail and booked. Other media have reported he was released within an hour or two. Authorities initially thought Lee was a minor, but because he’s of legal age, say he will charged as an adult.

Police believe there’s no continuing threat to the community.
