Denae Veselits, for forty years one of Spokane's most creative beloved artists, passed away January 29, 2024. Come to Ruins Restaurant, 225 W. Riverside, Thursday April 18 through Sunday April 21st, Thurs to Sat 5-10 pm, Sun 3-9 pm., and celebrate with us the joy of Denae's paintings in this unique retrospective of her thought-provoking work. Denae's interpretations range from the interconnectedness she found among world cultures, social movements, and iconic historical figures, to her often witty embrace of the richness and beauty to be found in everyday life and the glories of nature.
