The Spokane Folklore Society will host a contra dance on Wednesday June 5 at the Woman's Club Hall, 9th Ave and Walnut. Caller Emily Faulkner from Sandpoint, Id will call easy to learn dances. The River City Ramblers will provide old time fiddle music. No experience is necessary. No partners required. Come alone or bring a friend. Dancing is easy and fun. Newcomer session begins at 7:15PM followed by the dance at 7:30PM. General admission is $10; SFS members and students, $7; and under 18, free. Cash only.
