The Spokane Folklore Society is hosting a contra dance on Wednesday June 19 at the Woman's Club Hall on 9th Ave and Walnut St. on the South Hall of Spokane. Nora Scott will teach easy to learn dances and Reel Friends, a three member band, will provide lively danceable folk music. The dances are easy and fun. No experience is necessary. Partners not required. Come alone or bring a friend. Newcomer session begins at 7:15PM followed by a two hour dance starting at 7:30PM.
