Libertarian Presidential Candidate Campaigns In Spokane Area Friday

Courtesy of Jo Jorgensen

Jo Jorgensen, the Libertarian Party candidate for president, is campaigning in the Spokane area today [Friday].

Jorgensen is a Chicago native who is now a senior lecturer in psychology at Clemson University in South Carolina.

She says she would have handled the coronavirus pandemic differently than the Trump administration, encouraging Covid testing from the start.

“I would have gotten rid of the FDA obstacle a lot earlier so that we could have gotten tested earlier so we would have known who would have needed to stay home and who could go to work. Without that, we wouldn’t be in the shape we are financially," Jorgensen said.

The Libertarian Party advocates small government and limited spending and a generally non-interventionist foreign policy.

Jorgensen is appearing at two events this afternoon and evening in Liberty Lake, including at 6:30 pm town hall at Trailbreaker Cider.
