World Affairs
KSFC: Thursday 10pm-11pm
The World Affairs Council began in 1947 in San Francisco, out of the interest generated by the founding of the United Nations. The radio program is a collection of the events held with leading political and business leaders, academics, journalists, and artists. The programs are a unique opportunity to engage in candid discussions with people who are shaping the world.
The Council offers a forum with more than 18,000 engaged community participants where diverse audiences engage in dialogue that can inform their actions. Policy makers, business executives, philanthropists, academics, civic leaders and an attentive public join in the Council’s programs to listen, learn, discuss and debate -- deepening understanding and finding solutions.
